GWEFODE is pleased to inform its stakeholders that it is one of the Civil Society Organizations approved by the Electoral Commission to conduct voter Education and observe all the activities related to the 2020/21 General elections.

The operations manager of GWEFODE has condemned the endemic violence against women and girls in South western Uganda. While addressing beneficiaries and local leaders in Rubanda district, Mr Orikiriza Donantus expressed disappointment at the level in which women and young girls are being physically and sexually assaulted through rape, defilement and murder.

The Indigenous Batwa people in South western Uganda are facing increased discrimination and lack of access to quality health care services especially Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health services.

“GWEFODE has joined the Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN) as part of our on-going commitment to improve rural water supply services and tackle rural poverty. We have agreed to the RWSN Vision and Kampala Commitments
